Acrefy Acceptable Use Policy
Acrefy is built for real estate entrepreneurs—from your first listing to scaling your land empire. Our mission is to equip you with powerful tools to manage, market, and monetize your land investment business on your terms. That independence comes with responsibility. While we aim to stay out of your way, we do expect you to operate within clear, fair, and lawful boundaries.
The golden rule for using Acrefy: you are responsible for complying with the law, respecting our platform’s limitations, and acting in good faith. Here’s how that breaks down:
1. You can’t use Acrefy to do anything illegal.
We don’t pretend land investing is simple—there are zoning laws, disclosure requirements, environmental regulations, and more. That’s your territory to navigate. By using Acrefy, you agree to understand and follow the applicable laws and regulations in the regions where you operate. You also agree not to use Acrefy for transactions involving restricted or illegal land use, fraudulent listings, or other violations of law.
Additionally, you may not store or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI) or any data governed by HIPAA, as our systems are not designed or certified for that type of sensitive data.
2. You can’t break the social contract of real estate.
Real estate—especially land—is a trust-based business. You agree not to use Acrefy to incite harm, promote hate, or exploit vulnerable individuals. Listings or materials that support intentional self-harm, discrimination, or violence are not permitted. Neither are practices like bait-and-switch listings, false property claims, or exploitative pricing tactics.
3. You need to follow our Terms of Use and any additional agreements.
Our Terms of Use outline how the platform works, your responsibilities, and the terms that govern your use of Acrefy. We keep it as light as possible, but these rules matter—and you must follow them.
When you use Acrefy’s additional features (such as AI listing optimization, payment integrations, or affiliate tools), you may also be subject to the terms of third-party providers. It’s your responsibility to comply with those terms when using their services through Acrefy.
4. Payment systems come with their own rules.
Using Stripe or other integrated processors? Great—just remember: you’re part of a bigger ecosystem of banks, networks, and compliance standards. When you connect your Stripe account to Acrefy, you agree to respect those rules, including any related to payment disputes, chargebacks, or prohibited transactions.
5. If you sell through marketplaces or listing syndications, those channels have rules too.
If you use Acrefy to publish listings to platforms like Zillow, Land.com, or others, you must follow their individual terms of service and product guidelines. We don’t control those platforms—but we do expect you to honor their policies.
6. Most takedown issues originate outside Acrefy.
We’re not the property police—but other people might be. From zoning boards to copyright holders, complaints about listings or marketing material usually come from third parties. When that happens, we’ll notify you and give you the opportunity to resolve the issue, unless the content must be removed immediately for legal reasons.
7. You must act in good faith.
We built Acrefy to help honest investors grow their business—not to give scammers or bad actors a megaphone. If you’re caught:
Spamming leads or buyers
Gaming our system
Circumventing communication rules
Committing fraud
Or misusing the platform in a deceptive or malicious way
…we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account. We’ll generally give you the chance to fix things first—but in some cases, immediate action may be necessary.
When we do take action
If there’s ever a problem, we aim to communicate clearly, give you options to resolve the issue, and limit enforcement to specific listings or actions whenever possible. Account-wide enforcement is a last resort—but it is on the table if warranted.
Like all good systems, this policy will evolve. We’ll update it as the platform and the land investment world change.
Reporting Violations
If you believe someone is violating this policy, you can submit a report to our team at [email protected]. We take every report seriously.
